Summer means hot days, warm nights, and more time for exploring!

The two-month old Mexican gray wolf pups are slowly taking in the world around them – climbing on top of rocks, romping in the grass, and enjoying time with their family. What more could a lobo ask for?

Their wild-dwelling sister, cross-fostered into the Saffel pack (AZ) in May, is also undergoing the same development but she’s experiencing a slightly different environment. After all, the woodlands of the Southwest are different than the forests of the Northeast.
